is an interactive menu mode that is used to program zone
numbers, zone types, partition numbers, alarm and report codes,and
to ident@ the @pe of loop input device.This mode can Z&SObe used

tter ID codesand for entering Alpha
descriptorsfor zones (we recommend entering descriptors in menu
mode*2.
Upon entry menuu mode *56, the foIlowingis displayed:
Zone Number (Zn): Enter the zone number that you wish to
program (or [0][0] to leavezoneprogrsmmin
g).
Press [*]. A
summary displaywill comeup, showingthe statusof that
zone’sprogram.
If it is programmed satisfactorily,press [#] to back up one step and
enter another zone number, if desired.
If the zone is not programmed, or you want to changeit, press [*]. A
prompt for Zone be will appear.
